Before Brackburn Publishing can viably and legally sell anything under that name, it must first be registered with the state as a business name. The files for the e-book version of Pirate’s Redemption is ready to go, but Brackburn is still waiting on confirmation of the name registration. Hopefully that will happen some time next week, and certainly before August at the latest.
This is as frustrating for me as it is for anyone interested in reading Pirate’s Redemption, but it is better for everybody to wait for confirmation. Funny thing, but the state is a fair stickler when it comes to taxes. This experience provides a nice cathartic moment for us; let us take this opportunity to, in unison, sigh and roll our eyes at the government. Ready? Go.
